Daily Bag Essentials

I think most people are unintentionally a doer of overpacking. I must admit, I am too. When I say overpacking, I don’t only pertain to packing for out-of-town trips or long vacations, I mean every single day too. If you’re wondering which items to bring along everyday, then keep reading.

1. Wallet

I do not think it is assured that you will not be needing your wallet whenever you leave your house. Yes, it holds all your money, but that’s not the only reason why you need to bring you wallet with you everywhere. It also holds your IDs, cards, and other important things that you might just need when you go out.

2. Gadgets + Accessories

In a world of modern technology, I believe that it will be difficult if you don’t have your gadgets (or simply your phone) with you. Your gadgets contain almost everything: your identification, important details, contact numbers, messages, etc. Another thing to keep in mind would be your gadget’s accessories:

  • A power bank will come in very handy.
  • Don’t forget to bring a cord and an adapter!
  • If you’re fond of music, earphones would be a good idea.
  • In case of emergency, you also might need a car charger.

3. Sanitary Purposes

If you’re a neat freak like me, this would be much needed. I always make sure to bring a pack of tissue with me, a small alcohol spraywet wipes, and some breath mints.

4. Retouch

Living in the Philippines with its hot and humid atmosphere will make you sweat and grease up very quickly. In order for you to decrease your worry, always make sure to bring some things for retouching. You could always bring a lip balm, a compact powder, a perfume, etc.

If you think about it, there are only 4 “essentials“, when in fact there are much more items under each bullet. If you think it’s too much or if you would want to bring all of those, just make sure you pack these items in small sizes. That way it would be more convenient.
